UNCATEGORIZED TALE: The Other Side of the Story
Was it really just a dream? Was Princess Aeneah’s Prince part of her eerie imagination? Was Khali’s love a dream or a reality in existence? Did the Venetian Princess really had that journey of finding what pain means and the complicated Nature of Love?
For Princess Aeneah it was a dream that changed her life, for Aeneah it was a reality that transformed her existence.
Yes, the Princess did embark on that journey on Earth and everything that happened was part of the undisclosed Law of Nature. It is a rare occurrence that a goddess and a human being are born under a dual zodiacal constellation. When Princess Aeneah and Aeneah were born, the ruling planet in the galaxy was Mercury. It was a time when Astraes, the daughter of Jupiter and Themses, was among the greatest ruling gods in the galaxy. In this golden era, justice and equality between the gods and goddesses reigned. It was also a time when the positions of the star Spica and
For some unknown reason these two exceptional beings share a unique connection with one another. In astrology, it is believed that the positions and movements of astronomical bodies, particularly the Sun, Moon, planets, and stars represent events on Earth. The position of astronomical bodies at the exact moment of a person’s birth and the subsequent movements of the bodies reflect that person’s character and, therefore, destiny.
In the previous chapters, Princess Aeneah experienced everything through Aeneah, her human zodiacal “twin”. This was made possible with the help of the cosmic powers of the sky, another astronomical mystery. As the Princess woke up from her dream, life continues to turn on earth for Aeneah.
The Princess’s tale had its entrancing end; will Aeneah’s Fairytale be any different to her? Will she and Khali still have their happily ever after?
Chapter 4
Khali could still not believe that he saw Aeneah again today, after 9 months of not seeing and talking to her, the thought of seeing her again still bothered him. He regretted to have not said anything to her, he could have asked her to talk or something, but everything happened so fast he overlooked on his past hesitations; that particular moment they just had in the park was unexplainable.
It was night outside, and his wife was already asleep when he got out of bed and went outside their house. He took his robe and went to their garden, he sat on the bench, and gazed at the evening sky, the iridescent beam of light reflected by the moon was striking. He likes staring at the moon; he appreciates the calmness and beauty it bequeaths to the evening sky. As he was gazing up at the moon, he remembered the first night he and Aeneah spent at the beach. The evening was so perfect, even the sky, the stars, and the moon were in the right places at that moment, – it was like a scenario in a dream. Even the flow of the sea was unspoiled; it was serene, calm with its every touch to the shore. The night was young, the place was unflawed, and he is with the perfect woman to spend it with. He thought that if forever was real, it would be here, in this scenic abode; he wished that like the sky’s horizon this moment would last in perpetuity… He broke off his thoughts; it was a pleasant experience, though it is just a painful memory now. When his eyes explored the vastness of the sky, he saw a few visible stars shining brightly, but there was one star that shined brightly amongst the rest. He remembered his astronomy teacher saying that the star Venus is the brightest object in our sky after the sun and the moon. Because of the distances of the orbits of Venus and the Earth from the Sun, Venus is never visible more than three hours before sunrise or three hours after sunset. It was almost three in the morning then, three hours before sunrise when the morning star Venus would fade away in view. This was the first time he ever saw it glimmer radiantly. “Venus, in roman mythology, the goddess of love and beauty. The mother of Aeneas and Cupid. Aeneah once told me that her name was rooted in ancient mythology; her mother was fond of Roman gods and goddesses and the beautiful history of mythology, that was why she got her name, Aeneah, from the Trojan prince, Aeneas – the son of Anchises and Venus. No wonder she grew up to much like a princess.” Khali thought; even the heavenly bodies still reminds him of Aeneah. He saw Venus flicker its light again,
“I guess your one of those stars which righteously belong to the sky, one that is made only to be gazed up upon, never to fall down to Earth to grant anyone’s wish. If only I could reach up to you and make my wish... If only I could reach up to you Aeneah...”
When he went back to their room, he got a pen and paper and wrote a letter for Aeneah. Although he had no idea where to send his letter or of why the sudden need to write to her after all this months, the thought compelled him to do so.
In his study room, he scribbled the words that he had long kept inside, words left unsaid and words he was yearning to say to her in the months passed.
Aeneah,
It took me this long to say all of this to you. I was not much of a brave man in the past that was why I never took the courage to tell you how I really feel. For the first time in my life, I was afraid. I was apprehensive to the thought of revealing my true feelings; you were not like any woman I have met before. I do not know what it is about you that make me all frail inside out; when it comes to you, I seem to have no control over my own strength; you are undeniably my heart’s strongest weakness.
I fell deeply in love with you, Aen. I don’t know why I’m saying all of this now, I know you already have someone special in your life right now, but I guess I still could not thoroughly move on with my life if I still have unanswered questions in my mind, questions that kept me holding on to you this long, answers that I need to hear, for me to stop hoping for a love trapped in the past. For the past months, I never stopped thinking of you, never stopped loving you, hoping that one day we could talk things out. Why did you suddenly left Aen? Was it something I did? Why haven’t you answered any of my calls in the past? Or return any of my messages? Did you find another guy? Was that the one you were with in the park? How long have you been together Aen?
I’m sorry if I wasn’t enough for you, I’m sorry if I could not stand up to your standard of being the Right Guy.
That time at the Park when we saw each other, why didn’t we talk? Like the way we did before? Why the sudden change Aen? You acted as if we barely knew each other. I know you felt it too, whatever that was in the park, I know you felt the connection we had at that moment. I was dying to talk to you at that time, but you seem to be avoiding me. Why?
I just want to know why Aen.
Khali
He rolled the paper and tied a ribbon around it, he got one of the fabricated bottles in his desk; crystal in appearance and jade green in color – Aeneah’s favorite color. He slipped the rolled paper into the bottle and set it back inside his desk.
The next day, Tish saw the bottle of letter when she was looking up for some of her reports in their study room. Curious, she opened the bottle and slips the paper out. When she finished reading the letter, tears streamed down her eyes, just as she was about to tear the letter apart, Khali entered the room.
“What’s wrong?” he asks Tish, that was when he saw her holding a piece of paper, his letter.
“Are you having an affair?” Tish asked in between sobs
“No, of course not!”
“Then how do you explain this?!” she angrily asks while holding out the letter
“Where did you get that?” he got the letter out of her hands before she could even tear it into pieces
“How could you do this Khali? We just got married! How could you cheat on me?!”
“Don’t you dare accuse me of cheating Tish! You don’t know anything!” he got the bottle and stormed out of the room leaving Tish crying in tears.
Khali got into his car and drove as far as he could. He was angry at himself, for having married Tish for all the wrong reasons, for lying endlessly to her about what he truly feels, for trying to build a life with someone he doesn’t truly love. He loves Tish but it was not as fervent as the love he has for Aeneah. As he was driving, he gazed upon the letter in the bottle, “I have to talk to her, to put an end to all of this.. But how? Where? I don’t even know where she is...” He drove off to the beach where he and Aeneah first spent a night out together; it was almost sunset when he arrived at the beach. He sat down near the shore and watched as the atmospheric glow of the sun shines, as the sun begins to set in the western horizon.
Holding the bottle in his hand, “If only I could find a way to give this to you, if only you could find a way to read this, to release the spirits of my emotions bottled up inside…” he threw the bottle into the sea as if it would solely find its way to Aeneah. He wanted to scream his heart out, to let the sea bear his despair. Only the sea now carries the burden of Khali’s lamented troubles. He went to the resort’s reception area to get a room.
Later that night, in the beach area, Aeneah was still uneasy about the thought of spending a night here at the same resort Khali and her spent their first night out together. She was startled when Tom said that they would be spending their 3rd month anniversary at Aloha Beach Resort. She could not find the means to refuse him after all the preparations he’s been through for this special celebration.
Being here again, brings many memories of her past with Khali. She was still walking at the shore when the cold evening breeze brushed her hair, the pale cool light that shines from the Moon made the night more romantic. She went nearer to the water to wet her feet when something glowing caught her eye. When she went to pick it up it was a fabricated crystal bottle, and it contained a rolled paper inside of it. She was about to open the bottle when she heard Tom call her name.
“I was looking all over for you, what are you doing here?” Tom asks
“I was just… admiring the place; it’s beautiful in here…”
“Yeah, I thought you might like it too, a friend told me this would be the perfect place for an unforgettable escape. “
“I know what you mean…”, she said as she remembered Khali
“What’s that?” Tom asks gesturing at the bottle Aeneah was holding
“I... Don’t Know... I found it floating in the sea; someone must’ve thrown it or something.”
“Ah ok... Why don’t we go inside and have dinner, I’m getting kinda hungry. I heard they serve exquisite sea foods here.”
While Aeneah and Tom was having dinner at the Resort’s Restaurant, Khali was at the other room at the bar having a drink by himself.
Will these two cross paths again? Will Khali finally have the answers to all his past hesitations? Will Aeneah be willing to riposte Khali’s uncertainties? Is this serendipity? Or is this just a part of destiny’s cunning recreation?
